BEAUTIFUL LIE (THE) by Curiositee -- [Alt]
Curiositee continues the story begun in THE DANGEROUS TRUTH as Alex Bryson contemplates the recent changes in her life - the new vigor that has her feeling more alive than she has in a long time and the beautiful reporter that has her feeling more loved than ever before. For both women, however, many questions about the past remain unanswered. Alex cannot ignore the curiosity she feels over a woman long believed dead, while Bridget cannot ignore the concern she feels over a possible threat from the ancient past... Curiositee adds new depth to the characterizations in this sequel as she starts to explore the history of these two women. The sense of suspense and mystery is in evidence right from the start. Showing great potential this is one to be checking on regularly. DO NOT MISS! [unfinished] - 21 pgs., 12/14/98

**DANGEROUS TRUTH (THE) by Curiositee -- [Alt]
Set in the present day, this FANTASTIC new uber-Xena story gets off to a rousing start as it follows a gutsy young reporter named Bridget Stone on a fateful excursion into the Chicago slums. In search of a lead, she'll find more than she ever bargained for when an assassin tries to end her investigation and a mysterious stranger interferes, one of the many homeless that frequent the slums, only in the blue depths of that stranger's eyes Bridget will sense a connection as old as time. Soon enough the reporter finds herself with two mysteries on her hands as she considers who may be trying to kill her while trying to solve the puzzle that is the woman who saved her...a woman whose tortured past holds secrets only Bridget may be able to uncover...Terrific characterizations make the reporter and her indigent savior immediately endearing. Combining suspense, mystery and a sense of pathos this wonderfully written tale is going to leave you anxiously awaiting that next chapter. A great uber drama in the making folks. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! [See the sequel THE BEAUTIFUL LIE] - 110 pgs., 4/28/98

**HEAT by Curiositee -- [Alt]
Dare I admit that the title says it all here ;-) Curiositee's latest chronicles a little evening interlude for the warrior and a non-too-happy bard who can't quite figure out a way of relieving some of her...stress. Very cute, passionate light piece that will have many of you sympathizing with the bard! DO NOT MISS! - 6 pgs., 11/13/98

**MOMENT IN TIME (A) by Curiositee - [Alt]
Set after the events in the episode FINS, FEMMES AND GEMS, this fourth entry in the MOMENTS SERIES chronicles a sensual little interlude between warrior and bard as the two finally let go of those long-held inhibitions to share a very sweet first time reaffirming their love. Wonderfully romantic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 8 pgs., 7/21/99

**MOMENT OF COMFORT (A) by Curiositee - [Alt]
This latest installment in Curiositee's MOMENTS SERIES is a very moving, emotional epilogue to the episode A FAMILY AFFAIR which finds the warrior and bard still staying with Gabrielle's family as the two try to come to grips with recent events. For Gabrielle it's a time for recollections as she thinks back on the little girl she once was and the dreamer who once followed an infamous ex-warlord in search of adventure never suspecting the incredible love and incredible heartache she would eventually experience on that new road. For Xena it's a time of emotional turmoil as she struggles to maintain her composure around the bard's family despite a near-desperate need to reconnect with her beloved soulmate. Curiositee does a terrific job here of capturing the intensity of emotions between these two women letting us feel their love, their passion and their need for one another. This is a very nicely written, sensitive portrayal that comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 10 pgs., 7/21/99

MOMENT OF FAITH (A) by Curiositee -- [Alt]
A sequel to Curiositee's A MOMENT OF TRUTH, set after the episode WHEN IN ROME, which does an exemplary job of merging the story Curiositee is telling with what has been transpiring in the TV series. On their way back from Rome, Gabrielle attends to an injured Xena as they grow increasingly aware of the change their relationship is undergoing. A different perspective on things, sensitively presented. DO NOT MISS! - 8 pgs., 3/29/98

MOMENT OF TRUTH (A) by Curiositee -- [Alt]
This bard's first Xena fanfic effort, set after the episode FORGIVEN, is a well-written, thoughtful piece that has Xena and the Gabster reflecting on their lives and the hidden emotions both are very much aware of as they weather a storm in a small cave. Good characterizations. [See the sequel A MOMENT OF FAITH]. 11 pgs., - 3/29/98
