**BREAKING (THE) by Redhawk - [Alt]
A key entry in the popular INFINITY SERIES, this new story marks a turning point in the lives of the immortal Xena and her beloved Rickie as the younger woman graduates from college and the two prepare to go on a celebratory cruise but a cruel twist of fate will destroy those plans as violence once again rips their lives apart plunging the one-time Destroyer of Nations into a darkness she hasn't known in over two thousand years and blinding her to other...possibilities. Redhawk once again gives us a great combination of nerve-wracking suspense, action, and romance in a tale that very effectively merges the feel of both the XWP and HIGHLANDER series. Her Rickie is a delightful, spunky, sexy modern version of the bard that complements Xena just as effectively as her ancient equivalent once did. This one will have you on the edge of that seat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 83 pgs., 2/27/00

CYBEREPIC by Redhawk -- [Alt]
This talented bard's second uber-Xena story is a Cyberpunk tale set in the 21st century in a North America torn by war. As the conflict rages on between the government and the power-hungry corporations, the last surviving members of the Red Wolves Clan struggle to survive, seeking vengeance on those who've harmed them and placing all their hopes on the shoulders of their enigmatic, fearless leader. Not suspecting the danger she's about to head into, Canadian Shannon Elias accepts a job as a courier - embarking on a mission that will take her into the heart of the conflict...and to a meeting with destiny. Redhawk's fiction is well-written, with an intriguing plot that successfully merges cyberpunk with uber-Xena. The uber-characters are original while recalling familiar elements of Xena and Gabrielle. Entertaining, well-crafted tale. - 89 pgs., 7/23/98

**OKTOBERFEST by Redhawk -- [Alt]
This sequel to Redhawk's fantastic HIGHLANDER/XWP crossover tale, ONLY ONE begins on a plane bound for Europe on the first leg of a vacation Xena hopes will further aid in the recuperation of her young lover Rickie Gardner. Still suffering from horrific nightmares, Rickie is nevertheless flourishing in the warrior's company - starting to remember a life from very long ago and looking forward to a second chance with her soulmate. Unbeknownst to them, however, others are watching and waiting...knowing the life of an immortal will not be peaceful for long. Picking up where ONLY ONE left off, this story features a riveting, suspenseful plot and a strengthening of the Xena/Rickie connection. Definitely one for the MUST READ list. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! **ONLY ONE by Redhawk -- [Alt]
This is a fantastic HIGHLANDER/XWP crossover story set in the modern world has the one-time Warrior Princess, now a deadly immortal, getting the shock of her life when she sees a familiar face lost to her centuries before. Rickie Gardner is a young runaway used to surviving amidst the danger and cruelty of the streets but when she witnesses a murder she becomes a target in a way she's never been before. Her one hope of survival now rests in a tall, dark stranger whose presence somehow calls to her and whose face she sees in dreams. Redhawk gives a poignancy and fire to the evolving romance in this story that makes it intriguing and beautiful and emotional all at once. The tale makes great use of flashbacks in much the same way the HIGHLANDER TV series used to. Suspenseful, action-packed and well-written, this is a MUST READ just as a XWP story but should be particularly entertaining for fans of both series. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! [Note: The story features extreme violence including sexual violence and rough language. Please make sure to read the disclaimers. Also see the sequel OKTOBERFEST and the INFINITY SERIES for similar tales]] - 114 pgs., 5/24/98

TIOPA KI LAKOTA by Redhawk -- [Alt]
Set in 18th century America amidst the Lakota Indians, this new offering from Redhawk is a colorful, historical romance that begins with the birth of yet another girl-child to the proud Lakota warrior Wanbli Zi. Hoping for a son, the warrior is nevertheless assured by the tribes' shaman that the child's future will not be an ordinary one - he has seen visions and in those visions the child follows the way of the warrior. Fifteen years later the shaman's prophecy has become reality as that girl-child is well on her way to becoming an accomplished hunter and fierce warrior but before then she must face a coming of age... and a vision of her own. Redhawk is doing a nice job here of integrating the Xena canon into the native American culture of this period in history. Well written with good characterizations. - 479 pgs., 5/11/99

WARLORD METAL by Redhawk -- [Alt]
Redhawk continues a tradition of original, well-written uber fanfic with a new tale set in the world of Heavy Metal music where teenager Sonny Middlestead soon finds herself drawn to the new singer for her brother's band - a troubled young woman with striking green eyes who comes from the streets and is carrying more emotional baggage than Sonny could ever suspect. Blurring the lines between the Xena/Gab uber archetypes, this is a fascinating read. - 294 pgs., 1/5/99

WYOMING by Redhawk -- [Alt]
Another of those very original uber stories we've been seeing lately - this one a contemporary one set at Lincoln Junior High School were Sorka Brickman, the proud head coach of a now winning girls basketball team is finding it more and more difficult to keep a level head around Principal Jennifer Walters - a tall, blue-eyed beauty with a few surprises up her sleeves ;-) Nicely written little tale with some funny moments and charming characterizations.
