HOPELESS EXPECTATIONS by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
A little vignette that reveals the heart of a warrior...and her greatest fear. - 2 pgs., 9/29/97
LOST WARRIOR PRINCESS (THE) by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
This is a follow-up to Starwarrior's story WHO HAS THE RIGHT?. It has Xena and Gabrielle finding a young girl in the woods - an orphan with no family left and a stubborn determination to someday take revenge on those who destroyed her life. Hoping to keep the girl from giving in to darkness as the Warrior Princess once did long ago, Xena and Gabrielle set out to find her a home and change a young heart in the process. Sweet and nicely-written. Note: This story is not explicit. - 16 pgs., 8/28/97
**LOVE BURNS BRIGHT by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
Actually in this story love doesn't just burn bright - it's more like a five-alarm fire! Stock up on that Amazon ice before tackling this one and while you're out picking that up stop by the convenience store and buy some energy bars...you're gonna need them! ;-) Rie's new one is based on a very simple premise - the warrior and bard have a little altercation. Then they decide to make up...and they make up...and make up...and make up...and just when you think they've made up - for good measure...they make up AGAIN! >:) No doubt about our girls' stamina after this...or flexibility for that matter :) Seriously though - a wonderfully passionate, tender, beautiful romantic piece, tiring too but I digress ;-) MUCH better than that big bad rift. A new challenge for those of you who like to be daring at work! NOT TO BE MISSED! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 21 pgs., 3/4/98
LOVERS IN DOUBT by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
Wonderfully sweet little story that has Xena and Gabrielle revealing their insecurities and the doubts these cause in their relationship when a jealous Gabrielle angrily undermines an important mission she was supposed to carry out. Nicely written with some very touching scenes. - 4 pgs., 7/6/97
A MOMENT IN FOREVER by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
A sultry new offering that has Xena and her bard showing how much they've missed one another after a short separation. Wonderfully romantic, this one will make that air conditioner a welcomed relief ;-) - 4 pgs., 7/8/98
**TIME TO LIVE by StarWarrior (Rie) -- [Alt]
Continuing the story told in WHO HAS THE RIGHT?, THE LOST WARRIOR PRINCESS and HELPFUL TRAVELERS, this is perhaps the best entry so far in an already extraordinary series. Having made peace with the young man whose thirst for revenge nearly cost Gabrielle her life some moons before, Xena and the bard set out to help Makarios reunite with his parents and then move them to the valley he and his sister intend to make their home. It is while on this peaceful mission that Xena uncovers a terrible evil at work in the surrounding forests - an evil from her past that if allowed to gain power could threaten the surrounding areas and all that Xena holds dear. Starwarrior has strengthened her characterizations with each new entry in this series, resulting in very strong, well-crafted depictions of Xena, Gabrielle and all the supporting players. The relationship between warrior and bard is particularly well-conceived - needful, passionate, and just thoroughly engaging. This story will keep you fully engrossed 'til that last sentence! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 85 pgs., 1/13/98
WHO HAS THE RIGHT? by StarWarrior -- [Alt]
Poignant story that has Gabrielle desperately hoping she can prevent further bloodshed when she's kidnapped and beaten by a man vent on revenge against the Warrior Princess - a man who no longer cares whether he lives or dies and who the bard knows will have hell to pay when Xena finds her. [See also the sequel THE LOST WARRIOR PRINCESS] - 7 pgs., 8/12/97
