**BURN by Zwolf
With some very dark, excellent stories already under his belt, Zwolf brings us a new tale which begins ominously with Xena and the bard crossing paths with a mysterious stranger - a beautiful and deadly warrior who Xena instantly recognizes as a kindred spirit and Gabrielle suspects may have a past as tortured as that of the Warrior Princess. Soon enough they'll learn just how dark that past was as the stranger's story unfolds and our two heroines find themselves immersed in a nightmare that could destroy their very souls. This is a riveting, intense thriller with several classic horror elements in a very original treatment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 70 pgs., 5/10/98

**HUNGRY ONE (THE) by Zwolf
Long known in the Xenaverse as the King of Spoilers for his brilliantly HILARIOUS spoilers of upcoming XWP episodes, Zwolf with this new story becomes also the Clive Barker of the Xenaverse! As if IN A DEEP SLEEP and UNDER THE MOON weren't scary enough, this talented bard now brings us a story that beyond the expected humor (wouldn't be a Zwolf story without the laughs after all ;-) is truly TERRIFYING!! Set on an appropriately stormy night, this tale has Xena and the bard seeking refuge from the weather in a dark, deserted castle - at least it looks deserted...until they discover otherwise. BWWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Couldn't resist the wild laugh there ;-) Anyway - this is outstanding folks! Very well written, VERY original and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! - 61 pgs., 8/17/97

**IN A DEEP SLEEP by Zwolf
The King of Spoilers tries his hand at XWP fanfic and suceeds in droves creating a very original, very gory, very chilling story that should particularly please fans of the horror genre. The story has Xena and the Gabster going up against a warlord vent on world domination. On the surface it would seem like a run-of-the-mill challenge for warrior and bard but this is one warlord with a very different kind of army - an army of the undead that just continues to grow and grow. With a nice depiction of the relationship amidst a truly spooky storyline, this one is perfect for those dark, rainy nights ;-) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 31 pgs., 3/97

In his second piece of fanfic after IN A DEEP SLEEP, Zwolf delivers another masterful horror piece, this one set around Xena's reunion with an old friend - a friend that is more than he seems and who makes the Warrior Princess an offer she's sorely tempted to accept...if only she wasn't committed to solving the series of grisly murders terrifying a small town. Zwolf presents us here with a story that is poignant and scary all at once - eliciting sympathy for characters that at the same time terrify. This is a well-written, intelligent, suspenseful tale that will remind you of some of those classic horror movies of the thirties and forties. DO NOT MISS!! - 33 pgs., 4/97
