**AND FAIR TRUTH by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
This is the sequel to de Bonheur's excellent LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. As the story begins Xena and Gabrielle are with the Amazons, happy at last while they make preparations for their joining ceremony. It is a ceremony that will only make official the love and commitment the two already share but not everyone is anxious to see them happy. Some in fact, want only to destroy their happiness... This story immediately captivates with an intriguing, suspenseful plot and a depiction of the Xena/Gabrielle relationship that is heartfelt and deeply passionate. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! [See the sequel THE SECRETS OF THE HOARY DEEP] - 62 pgs., 12/8/97

**BUT FOR HOPE by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
The ninth installment in de Bonheur's LONG IS THE WAY SERIES like all the rest of the installments can be read as a story on it's own and it is a hauntingly BEAUTIFUL story - one of the best in the series to date. Shaken by the death of her mentor, a confused and hurt Xena chooses to put some distance between herself and Gabrielle, hoping to make some sense of the raging emotions within her. All the while, the bard waits and hopes for the return of her warrior, seeing the pale blue eyes in the faces of strangers and desperately trying to keep her heart from breaking. Sensual, poignant and deeply romantic, this is NOT TO BE MISSED! - 8 pgs., 10/20/97

CHARON'S FROGS by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
A story about missing frogs, a frustrated bard and a very determined Warrior Princess :) This is the second installment in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES - 8 pgs., 9/11/97

IDYLLS by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
A lustful little tale set in Athens during a grand festival in which an interesting game is played - participants exchange necklaces for favors with the most necklaces signaling the victor at the end. In town with their "best friends", Gabrielle and Iolus soon are competing against one another. This is the sixth installment in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. - 10 pgs., 10/8/97

**INTO THE LIGHT by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
De Bonheur's tenth entry in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES deals with Xena's greatest fear as she comes close to losing her bard in a fight. De Bonheur writes with a very unique, almost poetic style that lends passion and beauty to the words and which is distinctly suited to the themes she is exploring. This is very nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 7 pgs., 10/25/97

KIND OF WARFARE (A) by de bonheur -- [Alt]
This is erotica with a twist. The warrior gets ravished. I'll leave the rest for you all to discover. Note: There are elements of S&M in this story...I think 8-\ This is the first entry in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES - 8 pgs., 9/3/97

This is the thirteenth and final entry in de Bonheur's wonderful LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. Having been through a lot of challenges, both physically and emotionally, Xena and Gabrielle are enjoying a quiet time with the Amazons. It is a time which allows Xena to reflect on what her life has been like and what it has turned into with the bard now at her side. It is a time also for rejoicing in that love and at last letting go of some of those long-held fears. This is a beautiful, poignant ending to a very romantic series which reaffirms the power of love. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! - 6 pgs., 11/9/97

QUEEN'S SECRET LOVES (THE) by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
This amusing little story is the twelfth entry in de Bonheur's LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. Cute. ;-) - 6 pgs., 11/97

**RADIANT NIGHT by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
De Bonheur's latest is set in Poteidaia where Xena and Gabrielle have gone to spend some time with the storyteller's family. This is a short, simple and beautifully romantic piece which celebrates the love between warrior and bard. This is the seventh installment in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. - 8 pgs., 10/15/97

SECRETS OF THE HOARY DEEP (THE) by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
This FANTASTIC follow up to de Bonheur's AND FAIR TRUTH is an uber-Xena story set in post-WWI France where a young aristocrat named Michelle Destin finds herself in the middle of an intriguing mystery involving a very old painting...and the enigmatic woman that soon comes into her life. Meanwhile, in Elysia a certain warrior and bard enjoy the happiness they earned long ago, thinking of the life they made together, but wanting also to help the living children of their blood find that happiness. Still unfinished, this story is wonderfully promising. De Bonheur does an excellent job presenting the aristocratic element of post-WWI Parisian society. Meanwhile, as in her previous stories, the Xena/Gab relationship is depicted with great care, great passion and great tenderness. Still unfinished this story is already a fine read. DO NOT MISS! [unfinished] - 2/7/98

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 8 pgs., 10/8/97

**SUMMER STORM by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
This new tale from de Bonheur is an absolute gem, chronicling a day of passionate frolicking at the beach between warrior and bard. Reading like poetry in parts, this is sensual and terribly romantic. It is a follow-up to de Bonheur's earlier work AND FAIR TRUTH. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 6 pgs., 3/16/98

TO LIVE by de Bonheur -- [Alt]
A deeply SENSUAL new offering depicting the coming together of two souls. De Bonheur's unique writing style is deceptively subtle but very effective in creating the vivid imagery throughout this vignette. This is the fourth installment in the LONG IS THE WAY SERIES. - 6 pgs., 9/20/97
