BET (THE) by sHaYch -- [Alt]
VERY sweet story with both humor and romance that has Xena and Gabrielle agreeing to help the Amazons and the Centaurs try to form an alliance with a separate band of Amazons. A party soon sets out for the once-thought-lost city of Themiscrya with Gabrielle in the lead as Queen of her Amazons. Well-known to this other Amazon tribe and hated by them, Xena knows she will not be welcomed at Themiscrya but reluctant to let her bard go alone she accompanies the party anyway in a role she knows the other Amazons will Gabrielle's slave. - 28 pgs., 7/6/97
FANFIC ART: Ciegra Story Cover - Not currently available on the Web

Back in April 1997, Shay released the PERFECT story for all us feline lovers, the delightful CAT'S MEOW featuring a precocious little feline named Flax. Having helped the warrior and bard FINALLY admit their feelings for one another in that story, Flax is now determined to help protect their love at any cost so when Gabrielle's life is threatened he joins forces with the Warrior Princess to fight the evil intent on destroying them. Shay has a wonderful way of portraying both the mystery associated with felines and their propensity for mischief. This one should appeal to all and is a definite MUST READ for feline sympathizers ;-) - 16 pgs., 11/24/97

CAT'S MEOW by sHaYcH -- [Alt]
The perfect fan fiction story for all those Xenite feline lovers out there! This is a delightful little tale featuring a precocious feline that insinuates himself into the lives of Xena and Gabrielle determined to make these two see what seems very obvious to him! ;-) The cuteness factor is WAY UP in this story. [See also the sequel CAT SCRATCH FEVER] - 8 pgs., 4/23/97

MORAL DILEMMA by sHaYcH -- [Alt]
This story takes place after the recent events in the TV episodes involving Xena's death and resurrection. It has Gabby struggling with the feelings she's discovered for her friend and then having to face them head on when Xena is injured during a fight, loses her memory and ends up thinking she's someone else - someone who doesn't mind in the least expressing what she wants to the bard. - 13 pgs., 3/12/97

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS by sHaYcH -- [Alt]
These are two separate vignettes written as companion pieces. The first is a journal entry in which Gabrielle thinks about her feelings for the Warrior Princess and wonders how Xena feels. In the second piece, the bard gets her answers. Very sweet. - 5 pgs., 7/97

TIME OF VENGEANCE (A) by sHaYcH -- [Alt]
This new story is simply put - a roller coaster ride! Just when you think life is going well for our heroines, things turn nasty. When they do, don't spend too much time getting depressed though because soon things are perfectly fine. Of course, this only will last a little while before all Hell brakes loose again! Set right after the episode ULYSSES, this story has Xena and Gabrielle fighting Poseidon's continued wrath while on their voyage back home. The involvement of the Sea god prompts other Olympians to also enter the game until suddenly the warrior and her bard become mere pawns in a deadly competition - their future happiness resting in the hands of an unlikely hero. Well-written and lots of FUN! - 13 pgs., 5/19/97

Futuristic uber-Xena story that has Natasha Romanoff, a descendant of the Warrior Princess, learning about an insidious plan set in motion by an old enemy of Xena's to undo all the good that came from Xena's life. Determine to restore the legacy her ancestor gave to the world, Tasha makes a decision that will change her life forever. This story bestows a nice sense of timelessness to the romance of Xena and Gabrielle. - 14 pgs., 12/17/97

WARRIOR'S HANDS (A) by sHaYcH -- [Alt]
Sensual new offering set right after the events in the episode THE LOST MARINER which has Gabrielle remembering a secret she's kept from the Warrior Princess for much too long. - 6 pgs., 9/11/97

**LONE SOUL (THE) by sHaYcH - [Alt]
Another Xenite bard tries her hand at VOYAGER fanfic delivering a thoughtful, poignant new tale that is the first entry in a planned series called VOYAGES OF THE SOUL. Set initially just prior to the events in the episode DRONE, the story chronicles a Borg's quest to find her soul, first through music and then, after the events in DRONE, through the grief of an unexpected loss. Well-written with a moving look at Seven's efforts to regain a humanity she doesn't even remember. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 9 pgs., 4/25/99

SOUL'S FLIGHT by sHaYcH - [Alt]
Episode five in the VOYAGES OF THE SOUL SERIES finds Seven recuperating from her recent injury but still struggling with her feelings for a certain Starfleet Captain and terrified now that she's missed any chance she ever had of winning Janeway's heart. A poignant look at the Borg's insecurities. DO NOT MISS! - 14 pgs., 4/25/99

**SOUL SEARCHING by sHaYcH - [Alt]
Episode three in the VOYAGES OF THE SOUL SERIES finds the crew of Voyager enjoying some leisure time on a beautiful M-class planet where a memory from her childhood spurns Seven to try her hand at swimming and ends up with the Captain catching herself a Borg ;-) Shay continues to nicely develop the romance here as the friendship and trust deepens. DO NOT MISS! - 9 pgs., 4/25/99

Episode two in the VOYAGES OF THE SOUL SERIES has Captain Janeway trying to make her resident Borg feel a little better after the loss of One. In the process the two continue to grow closer. Shay makes good progress with the relationship and the characterizations here. - 4 pgs., 4/25/99

**SOUL'S RISK by sHaYcH - [Alt]
Episode four in the VOYAGES OF THE SOUL SERIES is a riveting, suspenseful entry that has Seven and the Captain getting trapped in a malfunctioning holodeck after Voyager encounters a powerful nuclear explosion. With the holodeck's safety protocols offline and Seven badly injured, it's a race against time as the crew struggles to get them out and Janeway struggles to help the young woman whose come to mean so much to her. Fast-paced and emotional. DO NOT MISS! - 14 pgs., 4/25/99
