**ADVENTURES OF GABRIELLE: WARRIOR BARD AND HER FAITHFUL SIDEKICK, XENA: WARRIOR POT (THE) by ML and the NetForum Xenites
A collaborative effort sparked by the talented imagination of a Xenite named ML, this started as an innocent little thread on the much adored, much maligned, now defunct but unforgettable Xena NetForum that was the first introduction many of us had to the Xenaverse. Initiated soon after the airing of the series enders, the thread opens with a look at the new lives of Gabrielle - Warrior Bard and her trusty sidekick, Xena: Warrior Pot. From that first initial reference, ML is soon inspired to give us a peak into the lives of our post-FINS heroes. It doesn't take long for other NetForum regulars to jump in and soon we have an ongoing saga as Gabrielle Warrior Bard travels the world with her...umm...unusually quiet warrior soulmate ;-) Not a fanfic story per se but a series of posts, this is arguably one of the best, funniest and MOST NEEDED threads to have ever come out of the NetForum. ML started this at a time when many fans were feeling incredibly down over the series enders and as usual, through good humor, camaraderie, and the mutual love of these two great characters we found something to enjoy even in the worst of times. A perfect tribute to the NetForum, the show, the fandom and two heroes that take a licking but keep on ticking - this thread is certain to put a grin on the face of many a Xenite for years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - 17 pgs., 8/13/01
